Anne-Marie Crosby’s interest in art blossomed in the seventies in Northern Ontario. She has used both watercolour and glass as a medium in the past and now paints primarily in oil. Through the years she has participated in many workshops to polish her skills and explore new areas, and has herself taught art workshops.
Crosby’s paintings inlcude large format landscapes of a moody, almost mystical nature. Her work is exceedingly delicate and subtle, created by numerous layers of paint that result in a very ethereal piece of art.
Crosby has successfully entered her work in a number of juried shows and has garnered a number of awards. She has entered her work in a number of group exhibitions, and can be found in many corporate and private collections.
