Canadian Ron McFadyen was born on the Canadian prairies. He has been involved in the creative process for over thirty-five years, first pursuing a career in the graphic arts and advertising before becoming a full time artist. McFadyen has created with different mediums including pen and ink, acrylic, oil, watercolour, plaster and stone, and has mixed mediums to produce his work. To McFadyen, original thought is most important, and he strives to produce images that evoke a sense of his reality. His ultimate goal is to maintain simplicity and honesty in his work, continually exploring the essence of feelings and the world we live in. His work can be found in corporate and private collections throughout Canada. |
